I updated our CRM 2011 server to update rollup 12 and now the email router refuses to connect. I downloaded and installed the email router 12 update as well, but still no go. I get this error message:
The E-mail Router Configuration Manager was unable to retrieve user and queue information from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server. This may indicate that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server is busy. Verify that URL http://xxx/xxx is correct. Additionally, this problem can occur if specified access credentials are insufficient. To try again, click Load Data. (Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: http://xxx/XrmServices/2011/Discovery.svc?wsdl.)
The credentials I've entered are the ones that were working previously, so they should have access. Also the URL is correct. Any thoughts?
UPDATE: checked event logs and I'm getting this error: The Microsoft CRM Email Router service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 9 time(s). It seems the email router service refuses to stay on. It stops about 30 seconds after it is started.
UPDATE: I had to uninstall update rollup 12 to make the email router work again. I would love to find a fix for this so we can reinstall the update.
