We are struggling with duplicate workflow created tasks in CRM 2011. These tasks have an identical or near identical time stamp (created on). The workflow starts when a specific field is updated, then creates a task, and waits for that task to be marked complete. We have had success with controlling the creating of duplicate tasks on a day to day basis (the workflow will not fire for a record that is waiting for the task to be marked complete). When the problem occurs it is multiple workflows triggering and running at the same time, for the same record and then creating duplicate tasks.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
