Hello.
We have a Custom Entity called Jobs. We are trying to create a grid view under the Account (we renamed it Firm) entity that will display all Jobs related to the firm AND any sub-accounts (in this case other locations of the Parent firm). Right now the grid only shows the Jobs associated with the parent firm (not the sub accounts).
In the Opportunities grid area of the Job entity, the Opportunity Associated View allows you to change the filter to include Open, Closed, All AND to include Related 'Regarding' records so you can see at a glance all Opportunities from the parent and sub-accounts in one location. This option isn't available in the Job Associated View in our custom entity.
Is it possible to create a relationship that would allow the same functionality? Our CRM consultant says that functionality is included with the standard entities, but needs to be custom programmed in Silverlight to duplicate the functionality in custom entities.
Is this the case?
