I have been unsuccessful so far trying to accomplish this task. Using Microsoft Dynamics 2011 CRM. Within a contact when viewing the main activity list (under common) I am trying to see if there is a way to add a column to the system view that will enable me to display the appointment type entered for appointment activities shown in the list but leave it blank for other activity types where the appointment type is not relevant. I have attempted to modify the default activity and closed activity associated views but the only available option for appointment type appears to pertain to something else and results in a blank field.
I hope this makes sense but if it needs further explanation or is simply not possible please let me know. Though given the complexity of Dynamics I'm sure there is a way to do this and it is just the 'how to do it' that is thus far eluding me.
