Good Afternoon,
Is there a way to close open appointments automatically from the Lead screen? Basically I have been requested to set up Dynamics so that as much as possible can be acheieved from the one screen (As switching to the Appointment screen would slow them down to much with their call volumes) They also want the ability to raise a new call from the Lead screen.
I have created an option set "new_nextaction" which contains the options "No Action", "Close Current Call" and "Raise next Call" when No Action is selected then i don't need anything to happen, if Close Current Call is selected then I need to close the call and if Raise next Call is selected I need to close the current call and raise a new one (using Date and Notes that are on the leads screen) I can get the New Appointment to raise but I can not see how to close the currently open calls.
(As an aside the reason I am using Appointments and not Phone Call is that I need them to set of an Alarm.)
Hope this all makes sense and that there is an easy way to accomplish this (preferably using workflows as I am a little simple when it comes to getting Jscript to work.)
