Dynamics CRM 2015 and SQL Server 2012 STD mirror?

Dear experts, I am in the middle of a CRM4.0 to CRM 2015 migration and customer needs to use SQL 2012 mirroring in the new configuration.

Checking the CRM 2015 implementation guide, we observe that mirror is not mentioned, only AlwaysOn. Does anybody have experience and/or warnings about this scenario?
