Deleting or Hiding Icons from Activity Entity

I'm just wondering how I would go about deleting/hiding any icons that are located at that top of my activity entity. The current choices are task, email, appointment, phone call, letter, fax and service activity. 

I can't seem to find it anywhere in the solution customization feature for the CRM itself, wondering if I'm missing something?
