Users unable to copy hyperlink mail address from email on rollup 18

Hi Guys

We recently upgraded a customer with 7 different orgs to Rollup 18. This was from rollup 8  (Yes they never upgraded)

Anyway all went smooth with the deployment and test. But today users started noticing they can no longer copy a clients email address from an email.  

They used to be able to copy most of the hyperlinks in crm but now none of them allow you to copy them.  they need this for some process they follow. This is on unresolved mail addresses.    If I click the address it opens the resolve address dialog which I can copy from. But this one click is apparently just to much work.

Is there any way I can make the hyperlinks copy-able... 

They are on Windows 7 with IE11
