How do I get the month from a date/time field in single line text field.? What I need is to get the month from the field and put it as the record name.
g: field says 02/31/2015, the name of the record will have "February" / "Feb".
So should i use JSCRIPT or Calculated field ?
If it is JSCRIPT please revert with the script and if calculated field then required formula.

Similarly if you can revert for fetching YEAR will be too help full.
