How to retain values in HTML web resource

Hi,

I have created a HTML web resource in MS Dynamics CRM 2013 solution. It contains few input text fields and a button. This page serves as a search page for my custom entity.

when user enters some search values and clicks the button records are displayed in the same window. If user click on back button the page is reloaded but without previous values.

Is it possible to retain the values entered in input text controls in HTML web resource ?

If not is there any other alternative to do so?
