Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,
When publishing a report for external use after modifying the default filter the report on the SSRS server does not refect the new Default filter changes.
Below is the scenario
1. Select reports in CRM
2. Select or create and publish the CRM report that has not been published to the SSRS server
3. Confirm the published report on the SSRS server
4. Select the published report in CRM and select "edit Default filter" make changes to the filter and confirm results are different (CRM report)
5. Select edit on that report, Select actions and select "publish report for external use"
6. Check the report once again on the SSRS and the default filter has not been updated
If the report is removed from SSRS and then "publish report for external use" is selected, the report will update with the changes. The issue being, that if minor changes are made to the report, the report will need to be deleted from SSRS and republished each time and subscriptions will need to be re-created.
it appears this functionality has been broken between 4.0 and 2011
Can anyone please assist with a possible resolution?
