Disable a partition of the table AuditBase in CRM 2011

Hello, could anyone explain me briefly what is partition of the table AuditBase for?

you know, firstly I've an instance of CRM DataBase in SQL Enterprise Version, in that case everything is well.

however, I noticed that if install a CRM on a SQL Standard version, there won't any partition feature there.

So I interested could I disable a partion  partition of the table AuditBase in SQL Enterprise Version or not?

if yes, how to achieve this?
