Automatically link record to opportunity if involved

We have many different lookup fields for Accounts/Contacts within each opportunity. I would like these Accounts/Contacts to be linked to the opportunity in the "Recent Opportunities" view on the Account/Contact record. Currently the only lookup that links in this way is the primary contact associated with the opportunity - how do I link these other lookup fields to the opportunity?
