Mouse usage extremely limited in body & subject of Email Template

In the subject & body of the Email Template, I am not able to use the mouse to highlight information, nor am I able to do a right-click.  It forces me to use the keyboard (eg shift + arrows to highlight words).  Also I am not able to double-click the left mouse button to select a "word".  Is there a setting in CRM that would affect this?
