Duplicate detection is running based on first names... help!

Hi everyone, 

I recently noticed that our duplicate lead detection is being triggered by first names.

For instance, if someone was named bob in the system, every other bob is being detected as a duplicate!

Can anyone help me get this setup correctly so it's looking at just full names and email addresses?
