The person that signed-off for the Process Forms to go live on CRM Online, I'm guessing they were either not involved in the development or seriously drunk. Either way, I think they should resign. I can't imagine any real organisation using the Process forms at production level. If they are, it's just a contacts DB at best. It's a huge nuisance and I hate the Process UI. It feels like they are in beta stage and we're the guinea pigs. The real kicker is that Orion is round the corner and the "Classic Forms" won't be available so as developers we're having to customise the new Process UI, ready for Orion on new rollouts. For older non-Process UI, we have to redo all the work we did all over again even though all the code written is fully supported. There is no point in customising the classic forms anymore if this is the case.
Microsoft Dynamics teams is keeping quiet about upcoming changes, we're not seeing an sdk or a roadmap, they're treating it like an iPod, trying to preserve the "wow factor" on launch day, but CRM isn't an iPod - developers need to know about the changes in order to get ready for Orion, otherwise I see organisations losing vast amounts of money trying to deal with the change.
/Rant over.
