Auto Save in JavaScript - CRM 2013

Hi,

I have doubt how to achieve the autosave functionality in javascript. I have concatenated two fields and setting value to another text field,after that I have to save the form.

Can anyone  give some idea how the auto functionality is working behind in CRM.
