Hiding OOB fields without customization in MS CRM 2015

Hi,

I need to hide an OOB field in an entity but the catch is that it shouldn't be done with any javascript. Business rules and server side code are permissible. With business rules, I see that the OOB field itself doesn't show up for selection. Any ideas on how to proceed?
