White screen with blue arrow on Dynamics CRM app for iOS (iPad and iPhone)

My on-premise IFD Dynamics CRM 2016 implementation does not appear to be supported by the Dynamics CRM app for iOD (on an iPhone or iPad).

When I enter the credentials for my server, BEFORE I AM PROMPTED FOR USERNAME OR PASSWORD, I receive a white screen with a blue back arrow in the upper left corner. This appears on multiple iOS devices, iPhones and iPads, with multiple OS versions.

I assume this is an ADFS issue, but ADFS (Server 2012) runs with no error messages for CRM when I authenticate in various browsers and also authenticates to Office365 no problem.

iOS version 9.2.1 and 8.1
