We currently have CRM 2015, but are moving to CRM 2016 soon and are planning on setting up a server-based integration with SharePoint shortly after (On Premise to On Premise).
The following article from Microsoft makes the following statements: “SharePoint must be configured for a single farm deployment only. “ “For each SharePoint farm, only one Microsoft Dynamics CRMorganization can be configured for server-based authentication.”

We have multiple CRM Organizations in our setup for different businesses (complicated org structure with some acquisitions). Wouldn't this require us to have a SharePoint installation per CRM organization? This wouldn't be very ideal....My understanding is the list component solution is per site collection, however that will be deprecated in future versions so we don't want to go with that solution.
Any suggestions/thoughts to this?
