CRM 2015 cloning products image fault

Hi,

Using Microsoft CRM Dynamics 2015 (on prem), our users are experiencing an issue where when a product is created using the cloning function, when subsequent changes are made to any of those images, it changes the image on all the other products that were created when cloned.

This is the description from the user:

"I had to create 4 new handsets in CRM today and I use the "clone" feature then change the details. When I save the product all details remain but when I go to the next clone and change the image it makes the change across all products that have been created from the one product (i.e. all linked clones)."

I have also checked within our test environment and have been able to replicate the fault.

Is this a known fault? Is there a way to stop this from happening when using the clone function?
