Workflow to set associated records of an opportunity to "inactive" when closed as won/lost

Hi

I need a workflow that when an opportunity has been closed as won or lost, that it automatically sets an associated record to "inactive", screenshot below - there maybe 1 or more associated 'forecasts' per opportunity that need there status set to 'inactive" it doesnt seem to work and i dont know why....?

Any help appreciated....
