We doing a test migration of on-premise to online using the Data export/import feature in CRM 2011. However when we try to export a user's contacts & accounts and import them into crm 2011 online we get an error for all the records that says "the lookup reference could not be found"
for accounts the column where the error is Primary Contact , and for contacts the column with the error is Company.
We have tried several different formats (XML,CVS) and combinations...we also tried putting both the accounts and contact export into the same zip. There were no errors with the data mapping or anything else...we also tried allow and do not allow duplicates...keep getting the same result.
is there a solution for this? We do not want to use a 3rd party as part of our migration . I ve also tried the Dynamics connector which works..but assigns ALL the accounts and contacts (30,000+ records) to the connection account ...so that doesnt seem to be an option.
