Plugin In help

Hi Friends,

I need help on developing simple plugin. I just confused which step I need to register.

In the form I do have 2 required fields I need to add two number save in the form as some field name.

I am using pre-operation with create message and I am using the update service but its not working as expected can you any one help to develop the plug in code and steps to registration.
