Hi all,

Here is my environment:

CRM 4.0 On-premise, OS Server: 2003 ent

Database MS SQL 2012, OS Server: 2012 datacenter.

I would like to upgrade to crm 2011 (os windows 2012 datacenter) so i follow http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh699789.aspx  "Migrate by using the same instance of SQL Server".

Pre-requisites  seem ok and the installation starts flawless.

After few minutes it breaks, here the log:

It seems to me that i need to manually install server roles, can someone confirm it? I was told that rollup 13 should fully support win2012 server installation so I am trying to install crm2011 using Automatic Updates mode, to ensure i have the latest rollup.

Any suggestions?

Regards

Valerio
