Hello,
I have a small problem that keeps occurring when I am trying to upgrade my SQL 2008 server.
Both Dynamics CRM 4.0 and SQL 2008 are virtual servers on the same ESXi host. I am attempting to add another processor to the SQL 2008 server since it is constantly reaching 80% capacity. The problem occurs when I power off the SQL 2008 server and reboot it; the Dynamics CRM server seems to not be communicating with the SQL database. The SQL database is working properly however because other appliances such as our timeclock server appear to be communicating with the database.
So my question is simply is there something I am missing here? Do I need to reboot the Dynamics server after I reboot the SQL server? I'm sure it is something simple any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Roland
