Limit the amount of options in "look for" in advanced find

Hi,

I want to hide a big amount of options in the "look for" optionset when using advanced find.
I know that options disappear once I remove read privilege from specific entities.

The problem is that when I remove read privilege from some entities that I don't want searchable, the solution becomes unusable. 

So, all in all, is there a way to simply hide options in "look for" when using advanced find?
