How to change field values on closed records by plugin

Dear all,

i have to change some fiels in closed salesorder records by plugin. I can read all fields from my service.retrieveMultiple Statement, but if i want to change a record via service.Update() i get an error that i cant update such write-protected records.

Is there a workaround to change such values and keep the record closed?
