Opportunities not adding to contacts

Hi,

I created a contact, then created an opportunity and added that contact and their company to that opportunity as an existing contact and company.  I also added a few activities to the opportunity.

When i look at the company record i see the opportunity listed under opportunities.

However when i look at the contact i do not see anything listed under opportunities.  I do however see the two activities i added to the opportunity on their record as activities.

Why is the opportunity not showing up?
