We are a sales rep organization using a shared CRM database. The contacts in the database are assigned to individual reps. Each individual contact could be assigned to more than one sales rep depending on the type of business.
The goal is to have each sales rep with an individualized MY CONTACTS folder of just their key accounts that will synchronize with their smartphones or iPhones.
We want to be able to lock out the MY CONTACTS folder in Outlook so the sales rep cannot make changes to protect the data. We want to have their individual contacts, assigned to them in the shared database, push out to their Outlook MY CONTACTS folder.
We are exploring two approaches: creating teams which poses some problems or creating a query. We can set up the selections/views with no problem. The issue is how to push the data to the individuals MY CONTACTS folder. Any suggestions?
We are just starting out with CRM and are still beta testing. We don't do Powershell, scribe, java or VBS. Is there a way to do this via SQL or workflow?
