Outlook Plugin upgrade from CRM 2011 to CRM 2016 SP1

Hi,

We are upgrading our CRM 2011 environment to CRM 2016 SP1, server side I upgraded in a UAT environment and now I need to find the best approach to upgrade the outlook plugin for 70 machines.

I think the upgrade path of Microsoft will take ages : CRM 2013 -> CRM 2013 SP1 -> CRM 2015 -> CRM 2016 -> CRM 2016 SP1.

In past projects we had many problems to push CRM plugin with SCCM , should we consider to use SCCM to upgrade it ?

Does anybody have experiences to share or suggestion to speed up the process?
