Data from activity copied to main form

Is it possible to copy a field from an activity and have it appear in the main form? 

I have a custom activity which records the start/finish time of a day and provides the total number of hours. I want the total number of hours field to appear on the main form so that when i do a mail merge into a word doc, i can copy over that field.
