CRM 2016 SLA on custom entity 'found an attribute with unrecognized required level'

After enabling the SLA on custom entity not defined as activity, I tried to create a plugin for the entity.

An error was generated 'found an attribute with unrecognized required level' after trying to add the plugin or adding a step or editing an already created step.
