CRM 2011 Re import issue of exported data

Hi,

     In CRM 2011 while Re importing of exported data create plugin step is executing in the update mode. in create mode of plugin we have implemented a validation for checking duplication of some of the field. Due to this I am not able to update the records using import. Could any one help me how to resolve this
