I have been using reports in CRM but need to be able to create a few more powerful reports that CRM can' accomodate:
For example1, I need to take 2 columns of numberic values to create a percentage value but I dont need this numerical value created in CRM.
For example 2, I need to automate specific reports to be emailed to customers.
For example 3, I need to report across 3 separate entities - accounts, projects (new_entity) and contracts
One way I have seen is to use Visual Studio BIDS on SQL 2008 R2 but I am having issues trying to get BIDS to connect to my CRM. I have installed the Report Authoring Extension yet every time I try and add in the XML it fails.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
