Include Cases on Posts tab of Notes Section for Custom Entity

I have a custom entity for which I've created a 1:N relationship with Cases (it's an "Employee" entity). On my employee form, I have a social pane with a Posts tab. I need the Posts tab to show cases that were associated with the Employee. On the OOB contact form, the posts tab shows cases that are associated with that contact. I cannot figure out how to do the same thing with my custom entity. Is it possible to do this? Thanks.
