Tracking emails under contacts that had their email-address updated later

Hello,

Email is not getting tracked under an existing contact whose email address was updated later. For example create a contact without email address, then open the contact and enter missing email address. Now track an email from this contact in outlook. It will not recognize the contact and creates  a new contact and track the email underneath it.
