Hi,
I am assisting one of the Sales guys trying to re-sync his outlook contacts with CRM2011.
Coupe of points worth noting:
- in outlook he has many duplicates (came from previous CRM4 version)
- CRM 2011 contains his 'cleaned' contacts
What we have done so far:
- Removed all dupes for one contact (that exists in CRM and is owned by this guy) in outlook and also from deleted items folder
- Re-synced with CRM (contact does not appear)
- Deactivated/Reactivated Outlook contact filter (contact still does not appear)
- In CRM in the audit history I now see under this contact an entry for "This record was disassociated form the Subscription record type through the contact_subscription_association relationship'
I'm guessing this last entry is why the owned contact record will not re-appear in Outlook. Is there any way to get this relationship back ?
Secondly is there a better way to re-sync contacts from outlook and CRM. I was working on the lines of deleting dupes in outlook and re-syncing from CRM hence the issue above ?
