I have a testing server with CRM 2011 installed, and I am trying to import a CRM 4 organization. After removing customizations from ISV and all javascripts, the import finally succeeded. The problem I am getting now is that every screen that had imported data shows the error "Unable to load plug-in assembly". Further digging shows the problem to be that it cannot find the file CRMHideViews.dll. I found this file in the CRM 4 installation and copied it to the same place in CRM 2011, as well as the GAC and the CRMWeb\bin directory. On CRM 4, it was in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Server\bin\assembly directory. I am still getting the "file not found exception" error and cannot figure out what the problem is. I inherited the system from the old admin who is no longer here, so I don't know if it's a native CRM 4 file or a custom plugin.
