Using related entities in Business process flow

Hi, 

I have a BPF in opportunity which is working perfectly as it should, i have a grid(another custom entity) in the same opportunity form which i want to make it as mandate to be filled before the opportunity can be moved from Develop to Propose. I would like to bring this validation in BPF, is this possible in BPF.
