Hi all,
My colleague is using Mac and can't send emails from CRM including bulk emails and individual emails. He has been sending emails from his Outlook and use RIVA to sync emails to CRM.
Some info which might be useful:
- My colleague CRM outgoing email was set to Email Router.
- I have no issue sending emails and bulk emails from CRM (I use PC).
- We use CRM 2011 online.
1) Just wondering if anyone here is using Mac and can send emails from CRM. We'd like to know if we have fail to set up RIVA which caused the trouble.
2) My colleague has tried to send bulk email from CRM. Please see the error message below:
Pending e-mail warning
You have e-mail messages more than 24 hours old that have not been sent. To send these messages, either sign in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for Outlook, or verify with your system administrator that the E-mail Router has been set up to send messages for you. For more information about e-mail configuration, see online Help.
There were also error message when he went to Contacts (the person he tried to send bulk email to) >> Activities>> Closed Activities>> open the bulk email.
This message has not yet been submitted for delivery. For more information, see help.
The Help section:
There could be a few reasons that your email messages continue to be in the Pending Send status. Look for the following issues:
If your organization uses the E-mail Router, email is not sent immediately but batched. Wait for the email to be sent.
If you use Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook to manage your email, but are working in the web application with Outlook closed, the delivery of email may be pending. Start Outlook to send the pending email.
Your email may not be set up properly. Open your user record, and under E-mail Configurations, make sure that Outgoing is set to the method being used. If your organization uses the E-mail Router for processing email, ask your administrator to make sure that the E-mail Router is correctly set up for your account.
Can someone please advise what we should do?
3) I have checked Settings >> System Jobs and found the following jobs. Could someone please explain what they mean?
Thanks a million
