CRM Windows 10 tablet App and CRM on premise active x control

I have an IFD deployment of CRM on premise and am trying to connect to it via the windows 10 tablet app. I get an error message - Unsupported security settings - Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online requires that ActiveX controls be enabled - your current security setting prevent this. Have checked and the setting is enabled unter internet options.
