After upgrading to CRM 2016, a report that is linked inside of an iFrame inside of the Account form does not display. I am greeted with a SSRS error: "The operation you are attempting on item '/' is not allowed for this item type. (rsWrongItemType)" The iFrame is configured to 'Pass record object-type code and unique identifier as parameters.'
If I run the report manually from the SSRS server, it completes without error.
I read a very vague post somewhere that suggested that ADFS was somehow stripping the path to the report, thus the '/'. The path to my report goes something like http://SSRSServer/ReportServer/ReportDirectory/Reportname.
I have checked the logfiles on the SSRS server and no further explanation is given other than what I have posted.
