No plus button in contact form

Hi Team,
When we try to place a cases subgrid in contact form, We are not getting plusbutton
we used related records->customer-> custom view when confuguring subgrid on contact page. PLease help with your suggestions/solutions.

Even tried with active cases view but of no avail
We have lot of customizations on contact entity. I am not sure if this effects!
