CRM 2016 Upgrade from CRM 2013 via CRM 2015 Upgrade

Dear All,

We are migrating CRM 2013 organization to CRM 2016 and created CRM 2015 Server in the same domain. CRM 2015 migrated successfully. We also installed the Update 1.2 on the CRM 2015.

However we are facing this issue" this organization cannot be upgraded you can only upgrade that is no earlier than 2015" during the import.

In past we have successfully migrated the CRM 2013 to 2016 On-Prem without an issue but ran into this during PROD migration.

Please request if you can guide through right steps.
