Campaign Monitor connector creating duplicates with Dynamics CRM Online

I have installed Campaign Monitor (CM) connector into solutions yet not synced the data.  When testing CM I manually uploaded a list into CM & there has been approx. 20,000 duplicates created in CRM.  These duplicates are contacts & some contacts have been duplicated up to 700 times.  Has anyone seen this issue or similar.  Cam
