Problem with workflow triggered by new lead created

Hi,

So i've created a workflow that triggers when a new lead is created, it sends and email to the lead from the lead owner and it works fine when one of our sales people creates a new lead

We also use a service called zapier , zapier takes leads from our Facebook lead ads, remaps them and sends them to dynamics and creates a new dynamics lead. It works great! However, when zapier creates a new lead in dynamics my workflow never triggers!

I reached out to both zapier support and Microsoft support and neither we're much help, zapier said i need to talk to MS and MS said i need to talk to zapier.

Would anyone have any ideas why my workflow isn't being triggered or give me an idea of how i would debug this?
