OK, so, new to D365 CRM/CRM Online. Get that out of the way first.
So, I want to be able to use Word-based merge templates to be able to send out bulk emails. I've created an initial merge template as a test. Created a marketing list as a test. Went into the XML mapping pane in Word 2016 (I have the O365 click-stream Office install) to insert some dynamic fields into the template. But now I'm stuck on the step-by-step to be able to associate the template to the marketing list so that the actual merged emails can be generated.
Naturally I've googled this. But to no avail. What I've found is either on older CRM versions, or based on contacts in Outlook, or otherwise not quite applicable/accurate.
Anybody know where I can find an up to date, step-by-step for how to do this? Using Word 2016 and D365 CRM/CRM Online, obviously.
