We have several Word templates created with the merge field of UserName to signify the person authoring the document. The template shows { USERNAME \* MERGEFORMAT} when Alt+F9 is pressed to toggle it, and the second toggle shows my name as the text.
After the template is uploaded into D365 and used by a user, my name still appears, even though the merging is taking place on a different computer with an entirely different user.
How or what do we need to do to set the display of the user rather than making them do the <F9> to update the merge field? This would be similar to having the Current Date show up correctly (which that field does show up as expected)
We cannot rely on users to have to remember to do this step or check the signature block before printing.
