Date/Time Behavior of Now() as factor in Calculated Field

Hello,

I created a Whole Number field that is calculated based on the difference between 'Now()' and a date/time field that is set to Date Only for both format and behavior.

What date/time behavior will 'Now()' be in that calculation? Does 'Now()' always use the same behavior or does it change depending on the situation? Thanks.
